The Browns announced on Wednesday that quarterback Deshaun Watson
will be starting the team's preseason opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
They plan to play starters on the Jacksonville game.
Watson is facing a six-game suspension, but the NFL has appealed that decision,
with one hearing set to take place with Peter Harvey.
The ruling is final and binding for players, clubs and the CBA.
The league is asking for a suspension of at least one year for Watson,
who has been accused of sexual misconduct during massage therapy sessions.
The league appealed Watson's suspension based on the evidence that
he violated NFL policy over multiple violations of personal conduct.
Goodell said, "We've seen evidence of violations in Robinson's case.
