The Browns signed veteran Jacoby Brissett to start for

Deshaun Watson for the majority of the season when his suspension is up.

When asked by the Akron Beacon Journal how he feels about not having the pressure of being drafted,

Brissett said "I just have to be myself.

I don't try to do anything more or anything less."

Instead of trying to be someone else, he just tries his best to be himself.

As the Browns' Week 1 starter, Brissett didn't play in the first preseason game.

The head coach is sticking to his plan to not play him in Sunday's

exhibition game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

The quarterback, who has not yet competed in a game,

is becoming more confident in the offense with every day.

He plans to use practices and walkthroughs as his chance to go through a game day.
