DK Metcalf's done his hold out and became a Seattle Seahawk for three years.
The Seahawks and star WR DK Metcalf have agreed
to a three-year $72 million contract with 58.2 million in guarantees.
WR Metcalf is getting a $30 million signing bonus, the highest in NFL history.
The Seahawks contracted Metcalf for the next 11 years,
a period in which he will be earning $24 million per season,
sixth among wideouts in the league.
Pete Carroll and wide receiver, Metcalf shared their optimism that he would be settled months ago.
Although Metcalf did not report to minicamp and was late to training camp,
he showed up on time. His holdout was quick but unsuccessful.
Now, Metcalf can return to a Seahawks team who really needs his field-shifting prowess
as Seattle enters a new era without quarterback Russell Wilson and linebacker Bobby Wagner.
