Doug Pederson says that the Jacksonville Jaguars won’t have any players opening training camp on the PUP list.

James Robinson won’t be placed on the PUP list as he recovers from a torn Achilles suffered in Week 16 of the 2021 season.

This is a good sign that the team is not going to overwork Robinson.

"Says a lot. It's a good sign," Pederson said. "I know, and I've seen

how hard he's worked to get himself back this spring, this summer.

He was here all summer working with the guys. ... He's done a great job

to put himself into a position where we don't have to (put him on PUP).

But still, be cautious with him and make sure he's ready when he's ready."

Pederson was asked if the plan is still to have Robinson be able to practice in August.

"I'm hopeful for that," the coach replied. "I can't put a time table on it,

and I don't want to put a time table on it, but that's probably the target."

Robinson also said that he's doing well with his rehab and is making progress, but is taking things slow and doesn't want to come out of it too early.
