Megan Rapinoe was named the Budweiser Player of the Week for her

game-winning performance helping Reign beat Orlando on the road.

After going into halftime down 1-0, the Reign remained confident and continued to press in the second half.

They eventually found the equalizer in the 56th minute following a midfield cross by Megan Rapinoe.

The match remained 1-1 until the end of the game,

when defender Sofia Huerta crossed the ball from the top of the 18-yard box to the back post.

Rapinoe volleyed it into the back of the net, securing an important three points on the road.

Rapinoe is the second player in NWSL history to score multiple stoppage-time winning goals in her career.

The forward Morgan Rapinoe had 14 duels won, the top in the league.

Rapinoe has been in four consecutive games, and has the same amount of goals and assists as a human.

She is now ranked seventh all-time with 44 goals and 20 assists.

This is the first time Rapinoe has received this honor, but she is tied for second place among NWSL players with eight previous award recipients.
