Orlando Brown, who has played as the Chiefs left tackle,

is reporting for duty to prepare for the training camp.

Tom Pelissero reported that Brown will report to the Chiefs on Monday and play under his franchise tag.

The Kansas City Star reports that the Chiefs will continue to try and lock up Mahomes for his next season.

Brett Veach, General Manager for the team, says,

"We respect Peyton's decision and it won't limit our pursuit of him next year."

One of the few ways the Chiefs can save money,

and keep the offensive tackle on their team is to use the franchise tag.

This would make it so that they'd have to pay Schaffer 120%

more than they would have if they had used it originally.
