Tom Brady’s return to the field was inspiring, especially in a game with such high stakes.
The Bucs beat soundly 27-10 by the Colts, and after the game,
Brady addressed the media for the first time since being cleared to play.
"I'm 45 years old, so there's a lot of situations I'm dealing with. You know life is continuous."
The team and the public had lots of theories about the consequences of Brady’s 11-day hiatus,
but he was only gone for personal reasons.
After only a week of practice, Brady showed his team that he is still on top of his game.
In the first drive of this preseason, the Buccaneers scored their only points with Brady present.
The drive, 11-play, and 66 yards in total ended in a play by Succop that made it through 30 yards.
Brady said, "I've played a lot of football in my day. A lot of seasons, a lot of games, and a lot of practices. I feel pretty good."
Brady led the team to a two-minute offense where he found five different receivers, all of which were very impressive.
