The Cincinnati Bengals went from worst to first in 2021.

They scorched their way to the Superbowl but fell just short of reaching the Superbowl.

The Bengals finished at the bottom of the AFC North during their first two years with head coach Zac Taylor.

They earned a 10-7 season last year, which was enough to run for Super Bowl LVI.

In an interview with Geoff Hobson of the team's website, Zac Taylor conveyed that

he knows this year will be different from years prior: “We won’t be sneaking up on anybody."

“Well, we know we’re not going to surprise anyone.” “I can’t speak for other teams.

I don’t know if they were surprised or not. I hope they saw a good team on tape in Week 1.

But this year, certainly, I think people are more aware of the type of team we can be, and we have to prove that.”

It doesn't matter how good you are from the past, there's a lot of work to do before week one.

Historically, just 8 teams have come back to win the Superbowl the year after they lost it.

This was last done by the 2018 New England Patriots, who lost to Philadelphia Eagles.
