FIFA World Cup 2026 stadiums: The United States, Canada, and Mexico will be the World Cup hosts for the first time. The big announcement about all venues came out on Thursday with surprises. The U.S. will host ten cities, Mexico three, and Canada two.
Mexico, a country with a rich history and two previous tournament hosting roles, will host the World Cup for the third time. Azteca Stadium will host the World Cup for the first time in football history. In 1970, Pele won the trophy, and Maradona took it home in 1986. According to the time zone in each city, the accommodation will be West or Center, depending on which side you are.
Mexico will host three stadiums for the event. This includes the legendary Azteca Stadium, which is located in Mexico City. The second venue will be Monterrey’s BBVA Stadium. The third venue hosting World Cup matches is Akron Stadium, Guadalajara.
Canada will have Toronto and Vancouver as its two venues for this historic shared World Cup. After the announcement was made, FIFA president Gianni Intino gave an address about what he expected from this historic event. But, the venue or announcement about the inaugural game for the final has not been made.

The United States receives the cities of Seattle, San Francisco, and Los Angeles as the lead organizers of the tournament. The Kansas City and Houston are in the Center. They have Boston/New York/New Jersey, and Philadelphia. They also have Houston.
