This is a guide on how to buy Afcon 2022 tickets in both online and offline scenarios. Official ticket sales for the 2021 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) begin today, January 4, 2022. This is based on a communiqué signed by Narcisse Mouelle Kombi, Minister of Sports and Physical Education and President of the AFCON Local Organising Committee much better known by its French acronym COCAN.

The 2021 Africa Cup of Nations will kick off on Sunday, 09 January 2022 at Olembe Stadium in Yaounde.

The communiqué made public the different sales points found out in the different sites with priority given to councils of the host towns. The sales points of the tickets, as per the communiqué, are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. throughout the tournament.

The communiqué also revealed the prices which range from FCFA 3,000 to FCFA 20,000 based on the category and the stage of the tournament.

Afcon 2022 capacity update

CAF and the Local Organising Committee have agreed to cap the capacity of the stadiums during the  Africa Cup of Nations 2022, between 60% and 80%.

The 80% capacity will apply only during Cameroon matches while the rest of the matches will be capped at 60% capacity.
